Photomontage: A collage constructed of images to create a new and unique picture, sometimes the outcomes can look unrealistic.

On Photoshop, we used a lasso tool to crop the picture down to only see its main image, this meant that we could put them into collages to make our own new and unique pictures.

 

In this picture, I tried to make it look like flowers were coming out of the roof of the building, to make it eye-catching and bright. But it would look better if there were more images so the images would be smaller and look more effective. In the collage there are many colours which makes it bright, but there could be more to make it more colourful. If I was to do it again, I would adapt it to make it more eye-catching and unique.

Where could you use this technique:

You could use this technique on posters if you want just the main picture to be shown so the readers attention is on the main image rather than the background.
